At installation nothing special to make you plug and it works, immediately recognized by the machine.
Windows Seven launches at the beginning much like before (a little limply ...) but after the third start we see that takeoff is done approx. 20-30 sec, a huge step forward compared to the old 5400rpm ...
Then it's a matter of habit launch recurring programs.
Firefox, Open Office etc. embark very quickly.
For data transfers from a USB key eg. we have a good record of 7200 classic.
Games saccommodent very well this record, they do not particularly gaining speed because not launched regularly, but we regard even saving time (light).
As for me it does not heat at all, so no complaints on that.
The autonomy against takes a little bit (I feel a loss of about 10% compared to the old which turned slower, but no free).
In the end it was a record that manages very well the launching of programs (especially Seven) it deserves may be a price drop (the difference with a 7200 classic is still very important in terms of price), but he gives for his money.
For now only Seagate has introduced Hybrid disc type, it is time for Western Digital they wake up (just to have a little competition ...) otherwise they will lose market share in this sector .
