My first BOSCH device, an electric impact drill, I bought used (young, little money) about 45 years ago. The unit I use still for specific purposes, and it works like the first day. Excellent! Several other BOSCH devices followed, all the best. And now this: I ordered the cordless grass trimmers ART 26 LI and tried him expectantly for trouble-free assembly immediately. The first stone: Zack, blades broke. The second: Zack, broken. My medium sized lawn is completely surrounded by a low wall. Clever, I pulled out the knife guard and kept going. Worked fine, only the grass next to the wall remained standing, the knife did not get close enough. No problem, keep the trimmer slightly to the side, the grass was, however, Zack, the knife was broken. This went on until the first knife-packet was all and I stopped in exasperation. But as I had not even cut half of my lawn edge! Conclusion: If you have a lawn that gently and precisely expires, should be all OK. But if you touch a rock or something else hard, then (see above), Zack ... at least one star, there is for the good quality and the ease of assembly of the device. The other four stars are there only when the double-thread Special coils can be installed, but inexplicably only in the Bosch Power Multi-trimmers are built. Why? So but the knife-problems would be solved ?! Now I take back my old, trusty thread lawn trimmer, in which unfortunately the battery slowly gives up the ghost. For 40 euros I ordered a new battery. Hopefully the holding has until BOSCH changed his knife misconstruction.
