I bought this tool for use primarily for cutting branches of trees and shrubs in my garden. It will serve me incidentally to cut planks. I used recently in order to thin out a palm laurel hedge (Prunus laurocerasus) and I was quite satisfied. The work is much faster than by hand saw and better. I easily sawed branches and trunks over 15 cm thick. The only complaint I will do to this kind of tool is that it does not have double security (gender electric hedge trimmer). Indeed, we must be very careful. As soon as you press the red button, starts here and it's better to stay focused throughout the duration of the work.
