The first two purchases were frustrating - although highly rated in the trade press and by local users - and, sorry Amazon declined. Those were a BenQ VA panel with worst streaks and a Dell IPS panel whose black levels I found quite weak.
This Acer was now a more spontaneous, last attempt and is "love at first sight". Objective it is necessary to notice, of course, that a resolution of 2560x1440 at 24 inches, certainly is not for office users or hours of Internet research. Although you can modify in Windows or in the browser, the font or symbol size - the crystal-clear sharpness (and thus the total wow factor of this monitor) is then but gone. Since the 27-inch version may be any of the better all-rounder, but its price is significantly higher than the budget defined by me.
Nevertheless, five stars from me. Desktop, icons, folders, and browser windows - all extremely sharp but in 1440p just very small. For me as just the "green zone". Is allowed but then times a 4k Video Test run in full screen mode, or start times afloat a Score in Skyrim, this Acer moved to lengths of what contributed previously tested displays in the similar price range. In brief: this monitor I give her no more!
Net other there is no rashes or down. Like the design, the feel is ok, could well be a little more stable, but these are all kinds of cable such as DisplayPort and DVI with this.
