Versatile and well - much more than the proposed 3 models possible

A few months ago we bought a drum with similar at first glance construction components for about 10 Euro for our son at a discount store. However, I was disappointed by this and reminded me how I played as a child with Baufix. Therefore, I was pleased when I discovered that there are Baufix still and ordered immediately this "Super Drum", although I was a bit skeptical about whether the parts contained would ever be enough for creative designing. However, when unpacking the skepticism gave way to enthusiasm: It contains the same components, as they are known by Baufix for decades, with some improvements in detail (for example, there are now liners for the wheels, which run this very easy). The nuts and bolts are made of wood like decades ago and the whole box is manufactured with precision - the way in Germany. This quality "Made in Germany" actually a real seal of approval.

The compilation of the parts makes perfect sense and the drum contains everything needed to build your own models. After opening the package, we expanded immediately without guide a helicopter with 4 wheels and rotating large main and tail rotors. My son is excited at the time of helicopters. The parts ranged easily this. Although the manual provides only 3 kits, but you can build your own models as easily. The connections are tight and even small children can play properly with the built models.

While standing on the drum a warning re. Small parts and the age limit is therefore specified by 3 years, the parts are so great that I have my 2-year-old son without hesitation let himself play with it. For example, the wooden nuts and large diamond-shaped, and all screws, rings etc. are considerably larger than the plastic parts of the drum from the cheap discounters. At most, in the crane string I could imagine a threat, but these must be an infant not necessarily leave unattended.

Conclusion: This drum I would give 7 points, if I could. Only with the statement "3 model variants" is doing the manufacturers themselves any favors. These are just the kits from the accompanying booklet - but you can actually build many other models.

This drum will not be our last Baufix product safety. The old discounter drum I will soon sort out and for another Baufix box - perhaps even a second copy of this drum - purchase, so that we can also build larger and more models.

Addendum:
Meanwhile, I have ordered a second copy because the price just is very cheap (amazing considering the contained precisely manufactured and carefully rounded wooden parts with threads). Thus, the other system will be permanently removed from us and completely replaced by Baufix.
