We use on average a bread machine every 18 to 24 months for over 8 years. A family of 5 people = a loaf of 750g each day. The experience begins to be rich. The first thing: it is not possible to say that this machine will become to use, in 5 or 6 months. But we can already make some remarks. First the bread is enough "picked up" because of the size of the tank, I was used to a longer form. This induces probably lighter cooking: even putting cooking on its maximum, that is not enough to brown the bread. It would probably add time to the maximum cooking. So the crust was not crispy it can be achieved with other machines (and I like the cooked bread). It may be a cultural issue, if the machine is designed by Dutch who do not perhaps have the same design as French bread. Despite this insufficient cooking my opinion, I found the time to prepare and cook too long: 6 hours! Having said this machine gives satisfaction on several points since it is easier to unmold the bread. The drummer does not remain stuck in the loaf. Removing it requires a little sleight of hand because we must first unlock (a small slam indicates the operation's success). I would advise a priori cool the tank before adding water to soften the bread that stays around drummer: it facilitates its release. Quite honestly, I would have to buy today a bread machine, knowingly, I would not choose this model.
