Unconditional reader of Patrick Graham, of course I expected this novel with great impatience. I even stopped reading the last Coben to start "Return to Redemption", that's saying something ... I expected a novel in the tradition of the Gospel or the Apocalypse and I discovered something else. An incredible psychological thriller of a rare violence both physical and mental, for so endearing characters, damaged by terrible events, marked forever. The author takes us to the end of hell in their quest for truth and justice. The actions of some characters lead us to the brink of nausea and yet we know very well that it exists !!! Problems sects, pedophilia, incest, crime, everything is treated with the utmost accuracy and incredible efficiency. A rare power of words, an incisive text, a feeling of hatred and love present on every page. Unable to close the book before the end and want to read it immediately. What's more, if we do not emerge unscathed from such a novel ...
