bright and loud

On the recommendation of a colleague have decided for an Osram product to 5x 60 watt bulbs to replace in the hanging lamp above our table. The requirement was to find a dimmable LED alternative with equivalent coverage at a reasonable price.

With the illumination I'm really pleased. The light is much better (lighter) than the replaced 60W Glübirnen. The lamps are relatively heavy and make a high-quality impression.
What is striking that, in contrast to normal bulbs when you turn the LED lamps a brief, but noticeable delay is until the lights go on. From this time the lamps but with full brightness.

The biggest shortcoming is in my opinion the whirring of the lamps, which is louder, the more the lamps are dimmed. That may interfere less with the operation of an LED lamp, but five of the sound is turned on at the same time but uncomfortable. The fact that our lampshade is only 70-80cm above the table makes the situation not better.

Because of this, there's the Osram Superstra Classic A60 from me only 4 out of 5 stars. I'll look around for alternatives and even, if necessary, individually mount the lamps in other lamps.

Update 1: 1.5 days is already the first of the 5 lamps failed :( I prefer it smooth nor a ZIP code.
