Bright and quiet

The camera is, even if you can still hear sounds above 16 kHz, silently. The annoying high whistle, give the many CFLs ("energy saving lamps") and other LED lamps on its own does not occur. The light is slightly bluer (higher color temperature) than that of halogen lamps, but acts not cold. Overall, I find it very enjoyable. The brightness is greater than I had expected, but for comparison with a 40W light bulb I had no chance. The light beam is narrower than that of a radiator, but not too narrow. Overall, the lamp is very suitable as a reading lamp, if there is a distance of 1 m 2.

Since the LED contains a fluorescent, glowing still faintly reddish. However, one can only see the Nachleuten when you look directly at the lamp (what to do in any case when it is turned on) and it completely disappears after one or two minutes. In contrast to one of the preceding reviewers I thus see no problem here.
