Have the bulbs to replace 25W Matt (because they are hard to come by), and have found that the brightness, if not a trace is better at least as good. Have them in a dual combination (2 lamps next to each other) and therefore can well compare.
For durability, I can not say anything, the old 25er have 5 years held (2-3 hours per day in operation). Let's see.
