I oute me: I do not use the jacket for work but for cycling. Especially in the fall or spring when it's still dark and foggy morning, I felt with my Super Salewa Sympatex in Dark Blue / Black has always been well camouflaged against. So I wanted to make myself a little more visible with a matching outfit. From sports equipment there is not so much, and mostly it's plenty expensive. So why not even poach in working uniforms? Theoretically, these clothes have what can endure, they should be washable and even after extended wear should not be too much sweat, too.
I have now for a few days and am also been the jacket only twice on their way back. My first impression is very positive:
The jacket makes a very durable impression because of the materials used. The seams are clean and hang around no loose thread ends. The main zipper is of the strong variety and due to the large knob up while wearing gloves and are drawn. Threading with gloves is quite a hassle as with almost every zip. The two ("main" -) bags left and right can be opened by the cover strip with Velcro and the extra zip somewhat awkward or to close. After it has not yet kicked me with the jacket from the bike, I can not comment on possible load limits (I will also not try actually).
The actual purpose of optical conspicuousness jacket brilliantly fulfilled by the strong neon yellow and reflective strips.
The jacket is definitely waterproof and windproof (practice test) and thus also after a longer stay outdoors (cycling) in autumn weather warm. Despite the solid material a certain breathability seems to be given because, unlike in "Ostfriesennerz" not sweat it one after 30 minutes wearing time in its own juice.
What has surprised me the most when I unpacked the jacket: The looks so not bad! From the style and section can easily keep with the usual outdoor clothes of well-known suppliers. I Had no problem now, so going to the office. Sure, if you look closely and touch you could tell a difference for "civilian" clothes, because the material is coarse and solid, but at first glance, looks really good from it.
The actual purpose of use at the airport or on the construction site due to the jacket is a little hard. That does not bother me personally but.
My comment to the Product Description:
The yellow on the product pictures comes across not as good. It is, as you can imagine, a very striking and fluorescent neon yellow.
I wonder why it is so difficult for the provider always to describe the product with regard to manufacturers and design right. The manufacturer has a comprehensive website with catalogs, which also details the material and relevant standards are described.
I bought the jacket on Amazon Marketplace offered "IndustriewareDE". The supplier is recommended and sent via DPD.
