Bring good beans in top form

Before assessing the Siemens EQ 6 Series 700 first to point out that this is identical to the Bosch VeroAroma 700 to design and menu navigation. Also worth mentioning is that there is with the EQ 6 Series 300 is a small and considerably cheaper sister (for Bosch also offers a counterpart). Compared to the Siemens EQ 6 Series 300 Series 700 provides the following added features:
- There is (latte macchiato, cappuccino, latte) the purchase of two Milchspezialiäten allows simultaneously.
- 19 bar pump pressure (the 300 has 15 bar).
- Stainless steel cladding on the front panel and the upper side (the side, however, are not clad in stainless steel).
- LED-lit coffee spout.

The extent of the additional cost for these extra features (according to price by the manufacturer 200 Euro, in my case, the 300 would have been even cheaper by almost 400 euros, because it gave them straight to a super offer price) may each decide for themselves. For me the opportunity of the simultaneous purchase of two milk coffees has created the momentum for the 700. The part stainless steel cladding is chic, like the LED lighting in the spouts would be for me but also been dispensed with. The extent of the larger cache pump pressure of 700 makes taste a positive effect, I can not judge for lack of a comparison.

ASSESSMENT
Only rarely convinced me the product so much that it deserves, in my view 5 star. When Siemens EQ 6 Series 700 is the case for me so far (so they get one star more than my current Philips HD 5730 machine with De Longhi technique with which I was overall really happy, but now beyond repair after almost six years has passed away). Among the reasons for the 5-Star Rating:

Supply and quality of coffees?
++ From small espresso latte macchiato on the way to 'French' latte is everything. And while I could not make a difference in preparation processes of milk coffee specialties with my current KVA, which is the case here. Macchiato at a bar for example, the proportion of the frothed milk over a cappuccino is higher. For a latte, the milk is - as it should be - not foamed, but only heated.
++ The flavor quality of coffee specialties is m. E. consistently excellent. Even with Philips / De Longhi I was diesbzgl. satisfied. But what brings out this little machine from the bean, is truly remarkable. Can not remember ever having enjoyed Espressivariationen with a fuller flavor and am very enthusiastic. Finesse as the 'Double Shoot-process' (for a strong espresso is brewed twice) let my feeling after no more air upwards.
By the way especially to see. The dairy specialties also very tempting from (the latte macchiato for example, the layers set perfectly).

Comfort?
++ The ceramic grinder (!) Works compared to the steel mill of my previous Kaffeevollautomaten very quiet.
++ The device is very quickly ready for use after switching. In particular for the coffee break really beautiful!
++ Double reference: All specialty coffees can be doubly related.
Really excited ++ I'm from the low overhead for milk frothing - here I see a great advantage over the system with a milk tank. In my previous machine with milk tank namely the self-cleaning of the milk system was not very thoroughly - the container had to be permanently removed and cleaned separately. Here the self-cleaning performed reliable service and takes little time to complete. Compared to the previously used by me system here barely make milk residues that must be removed separately.
+ Find the operation via the touch panel pretty well solved. Only rarely registered the sensor array there is no input (you have to press twice).
o Since the machine after each brewing process rinses the brewing unit, he quite often asks (after 8 applications) to deeren emptying. I know so far is not so (on the other hand certainly a hygiene-Plus).
- My old machine (see above) was fully accessible from the front - in EQ 6, the water tank needs to be pulled up, the flap for the brew group is on the right side. I find impractical.

Others?
+ Design: As is known, very subjective, I think it succeeded. The zeitgemäßge operating concept via the touch panel is complemented by color images of Powering a range of specialty coffees - chic (a friend has a TFT display directly suspected). The stainless steel front (+ top) like. A pity, however, that the sides are not covered (bare plastic).
o When milk coffees can not be the proportion milk / regulate coffee (only the cup size and coffee strength can be varied). That is my view but not a disadvantage, because the factory setting here m. E. always leads to perfect results (see above).
- Small Equipment drawback: Unfortunately, no cup warmer is available. Since the top is slightly arched, here can also be no other espresso cups park - shame.

The time of testing I can not judge the life of the Risen me coffee machines. However, other testing and advice with coffee machines of Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH make me feel like the advertising by the manufacturer optimistic for 15,000 cases (!) To ensure a consistently high Brühqualität.
Should contrary to expectations regarding unpleasant surprises. The life of the appliance come, I of course would bring to this review and possibly devalue an update.

A GOOD Kaffeevollautomat DESERVES GOOD BEANS ;-)
This coffee machine makes itself from cheap beans edible specialty coffees. Really delicious but it is when you accesses quality espresso beans. Therefore Finally, a few recommendations:
Absolutely thrilled I am particularly most blends and roasts that offers Gepa. A very hot tip for me are the "Coffee rarities". Are offered in refined drum roasting beans from expuisiten growing areas (each single origin). The variety Maragogype from the highlands of Chiapas (Mexico) unfolds brewed in the EQ 6 eg a very multi-faceted, fruity aroma - so I usually know it only by good cafes in Italy (and even Illy enough because mE not turn and is also more expensive). The exclusive series of relatively small provider is the black outer packaging recognizable (Gepa products are available primarily in health food stores, some supermarkets offer fair-trade products).

My two value-tips are the Incahuasi espresso from the product line "Feine Welt" of REWE (typical espresso flavor with powerful body - but m E. not quite as balanced as the called coffee Gepa.) And the Barista Espresso Tchibo ( also full-bodied and strong, esp. delicious milk specialties). Per kilogram of beans each 14,00 (REWE Feine Welt) or 15.00 EUR (Tchibo Barista) and in any case a significant increase compared to the taste "espresso beans commodity", which is not given the time for the classic drum roasting (had me in demand products from several large manufacturers, whether these are the trade name "Espresso" ever earn). It is precisely for the use of a good fully automatic applies Me: You should not bring through by buying cheaper espresso beans to the enjoyment. That would be so similar as to force a star chef to cook with canned vegetables instead of weekly market ;-)
