I've had all three compete against each other with brand new batteries with the following result:
The railcars (33504) and the Frachtlok 33214 are equally fast and equally powerful pull; Both also come with pendants quite well, albeit with loss of speed, over the mountains and on the bridges - and both are much stronger than "Speedy" Green or supplied in the starter stroll locomotives.
The unassuming (and cheaper!) Orange Frachtlok 33215 but leaves both very fast behind. She's a real little runabout and climbs with several supporters still effortlessly climbs high. Absolutely great for a railway on wooden rails (even if the other two hermachen visually more).
The operation is m. E. in the 33215 also best solved: The switching on and off work simply by pressing the front of the locomotive down, for even the smallest hands Patsch which is easy to do - but the locomotive moves forward only.
33504 and 33214 are started via a toggle switch (backwards when the locomotive to move backward, forward, if it is to move forward, in the middle, if it is available), the already requires a bit of flair, especially in the 33214 because here the switch is small and fummeliger.
The locomotive 33504 has the added bonus of train drivers cabin incl. Engine driver figure. However, this fun is a bit clouded by that in our sample the lid of the cabin when you open easily released from the holder and then flies around in the area; my nephew is not yet manages to reattach it and sooner or later they will come probably lost.
Bottom line, we vote clearly for the 33215 Frachtlok! ;-)
