I had this charger brought to my PS3 controller to load into an electrical outlet without the PS3 or PC to have to have in operation. This purpose, the device has unfortunately met only 5 times. The power supply seemed to be broken, because the controller was overloaded with the supplied cable without any problems on the PS3, which connect to the power supply, however, refused to work. After about 5-10 other charges also the supplied cable now has given up the ghost, which I used to continue.
