The brush now looks after a few weeks in daily use actually no longer look like freshly cut from the tree and it is already a thick crack originated, but that does not diminish the functionality. The bristles are still like the first day, there are no failed. It is by far the best brush I've ever had. I think I'm going far from what it. Definitely not a comparison with the 1-Euro-articles with plastic bristles. The star trigger, there was only AUD due to the somewhat less optics (which personally I do not care. It looks now halt "vintage" from)
ADDENDUM: After two and a half years in continuous use, it now looks like something taken. The wood looks real vintage and it is also slightly torn. But the function is still properly.
