First, some devices were running only at USB 2.0 speed or not at all (only on the extension, directly plugged everything was as it should), which is probably due to the somewhat too low-lying bush, as it already with some comments at 1.5m cable has been reported. Now have the rubber jacket slightly shortened so that the plug could be inserted really deep enough and now everything seems to be working again as should.
