The description on Amazon says only that the clock lap times can, but not in any form. It works according to the instructions as follows: Pressing the left button while the stopwatch is running, it will continue to run in the background while the time displayed is frozen. Pressing the left button again you can see again the current time. But from there you will not come back because a second press on the left button only freezes again the then current time.
