The packaging is rather unspectacular. The box includes a simple plastic tray with the fan and accessories. Since Noctua, for the same price, and better-quality equipped.
When main supply be quiet then again in the lead.
First of all the installation. While 4 silicone nipples plugged in Noctua from the outside through the fan grille and then it will engage through the recesses (which is very tricky in a built-up system), you need to Be Quiet fan only press against the fan grille and push in from the outside, the plastic pins and Done.
Simpler one can not imagine an assembly.
Then you could see the Be Quiet in Action, but barely perceive.
A direct comparison of Noctua supplies in the range of 600 - 1500 rpm much wind, but is associated with loud noise.
The Be Quiet turns contrast von 300 - 1000 rpm, makes a little less wind, but even it is in full swing significantly quieter than the Noctua.
A ticking PWM I could also 300rpm not hear, or was it noticeable when you put your ear directly to the motor.
In normal operation of the Be Quiet turns with me 300 rpm (idle) to 600 rpm (load) and is not present noticeable. Because, unfortunately, the Noctua could not keep up.
Conclusion:
On my system, and any other Silent System (i5-3570K @ 4,2Ghz / GTX 970 / Anidees AI6) Be Quiet is clearly the better and quieter choice.
Who runs the other hand, strong OC and significantly more wind needs is quite possible with the Noctua better off, but must make compromises in the volume.
