CALL OF RESI: MODERN WARS ...

To say it right away: the UK and European Pegi versions are schnittechnisch identical to the German USK-version, except that after through play in the German version of the Mercenaries mode is 3 campaigns available and not from the beginning. I expect when it comes to Capcom Resi not much. For an FPS could perhaps give the game 3 stars, for a series of games that has invented the Survival Game, is actually a star too much. It is an impertinence as here only the name is a mess.

The developer Shinji Mikami, who co-developed the first 4 parts, is now working on the project (Game) "The Evil Within". One can only hope that it order an unofficial successor to the first 4 parts are, and the survival horror genre a new lease of life.

The developers at Naughty Dog have shown with "The Last of Us" yes, how to do it.

Should continue so crawl the mainstream games community of Call of Duty, Battlefield in the A .... the (Capcom) yet. Mich have lost as a fan of the game series. With tears in my eyes I see my old PS1 parts and think "Those were the days."

And I thought it might not be Part 5 worse. It can.

Basically, the only thing missing, the first-person view, instead of the third-person perspective shoulder, and the change to a pure FPS is completed. Could almost make a bet on it, that this will be the result in part 7. Especially as the FPS view, the radical game Alternatively, the Games would take into account. Ultimately, it would be consistent and would of come from me complained here gameplay benefit as the shoulder view perspective, as well as the unfavorable complicated menu navigation and weapon selection for this laid out only on action gameplay, not exactly ideal.

Normally I always a pair Screenshoots to my game reviews. Here I'm not doing this because the graphics, as already written is great, but the game just absolutely just a below-average shooter, and I would not advertise in the form of possibly imposing Screenshoots.

Everyone can live with that Resident Evil 6 is a shooter with poor or below average game mechanics, but can be fooled by a good graphics, should buy this game. Even the people who do not have played any of the previous can dare to the current price a try. For me, however, is this part, as die-hard fan since part 1 a betrayal of the series, and for most "old Resifans" probably.

The game does have an impressive game length, however, be explained by the opponents, on the one felt has turned ballert an hour to get up to their actual Exitus, and the whole crap again starts all over again. And not just once. So you can artificially protract a game also. No respite null horror, from a suspense I will not at all talk until something and the story brought from there (anyway to play in the game does not matter), which is sometimes just pray, the whole thing may yet come to an end.

I confess that this review is influenced very subjective and apologize. Unfortunately, I was so negative but pulled down this game, I had to get rid of my frustrations in the form of that evaluation.

Anyone who prefers to play a horror game with a well-dosed opponents volume and tension, I recommend "The Walking Dead" (not Survival Instinct), but the 5 episodes of Telltale Games, or Resident Evil Revelations (which was converted from the WII for the PS3 and XBOX360 ) and of course, The Last of Us, because there the feel of the old parts will be best reflected.

Last state of affairs is (according to Capcom), the normal Resi series will continue the action bar while the Alt Resi fans with the offshoot Resident Evil Revelations, which the 2 nd part will now appear in the form of old, quiet and tense gameplay continue to be served, and that is also worth something. Whether the attempt is worth double track to drive, and with Revelations 2 not only creates a loveless spinoff ala Outbreak or Racoon City, remains to be seen.
