Once installed in the cover GoPro becomes unusable because the release button remains depressed position.
It is therefore impossible to turn on the camera, or stop check-whichever is lit during installation in the frame.
If you do not want to use your camera in wifi mode (with the application or remote) I highly recommend this purchase.
