Warning, this cable is made to connect a camcorder to a TV. I wanted to order it for connecting a portable DVD player to a TV but the "pinout" of the DVD player is not the same so it does not. Amazon should stipulate that this cable is only used for the camcorder to the TV. I will sell them (there are 2) or give it to someone who needs it.
