NO, not in principle. Thick padding on the grip points. Child-popo-soft deerskin !!!! 1a quality. Just a shame that single finger / thumb sewn differently. Not much, but in the border area felt (a thumb close). This is a star deduction. The soft, padded leather offers a grip that is almost indescribable, without losing the necessary sensitivity. A pity that the beautiful color will surely suffer when working :-) although the leather is dyed. The processing itself is through strong twine and double seams of high quality. The size specification L at a required 9 is dimensioned somewhat optimistic. One XL is perhaps too big, however, and would not perhaps so perfectly like I need it to work.
