From purchasing this camera, I can only advise. I bought the IXUS due to the generally good reputation of Canon and am very disappointed. The photo quality is acceptable only under good lighting conditions, otherwise borderline. The setting for the white balance you can search long. But the worst thing is the cheap processing. After a few weeks stuck the lens shutter. After two months, the camera was then quite the mind and drove no longer a lens. That's it. The Canon service refuses to boot repair.
