As was the other AEG-clients we were doing: The floor nozzle "stretched their wings" after 1/2 year use in a single apartment with a predominantly smooth floors. The ball joint made of plastic is broken. So replacement was needed.
These nozzle (again original AEG) is not handled better and I am afraid that we will need at least one year, the next new nozzle. The reason for this in my opinion is that the nozzle clicks anywhere on the tube and therefore often rudely falls to the ground. When vacuuming carpets can only push the nozzle - while dragging the nozzle sucks firmly on the carpet and you get the pipe in his hand. By pushing pushes you every time with the tube on the ball joint, probably thinks at some point: "the wiser head gives in" and breaks. Fortunately, the nozzle is not particularly expensive.
