All transponders are of satisfactory field strength, better than the usual 60 cm offset parabolic antennas (dishes) to receive. The signal quality is excellent. The planar antenna is with the supplied mounting options much more universal than any 60 cm parabolic mirror. An installation option is missing: clamp on horizontal bar (eg windowsill). This problem is relatively easy to solve with a standpipe (in my case, clamp for umbrella and pipe to the floor). With regard to the orientation the antenna is easy to handle, a satellite finder is recommended for orientation. The shape of the antenna is ideal. Horizontal mounting without tilting in the path axis of the satellite (only a few degrees relative to the horizontal) they forgive because of the antenna gain without complaint. The advantage is compared to square planar antennas such as Kathrin BAS 65 that it can be much easier to hide behind balcony railings and is much cheaper. It also provides cost-effective Mehrsatelitenempfang with the antenna rotor Selfsat HH90 if the recipient is DiSEqC1.2 compatible.
Conclusion: Without restrictions recommended.
