Very good PC speakers in the class to 100 euros round

I bought these speakers to the sound from the laptop my wife to upgrade a little and to be able to connect to mobile devices via Bluetooth. By overwhelmingly positive votes in the reviews and in the press, the decision was made to these boxes.

The Sound:
The sound is really good for PC-powered speakers. Nevertheless, it is not a hi-fi equipment and really one can not expect in this price range also. I do not want therefore throw by terms such as "crystal-clear highs" and "punchy" to me, which they find in the other reviews too well. The sound is actually a little bass-emphasized, but which can be easily offset on the bass knob on the front.
By bass reflex technology, these speakers can develop an enormous bass despite compact dimensions. This is also to be considered in site. The opening should remain free, and a statement on the bookshelf in my opinion, not optimal.
If you are upgrading from laptop, cheap speakers experience a difference like night and day.
Also, it's nice that there is no noise at idle, unlike cheap boxes.

Bluetooth / NFC:
The connection of mobile devices via NFC succeed right away. Since the aptX audio codec is supported the sound even at Bluetooth connections is very good. With music from your own collection, there should be no problems. With streaming services have to be careful to choose the highest possible quality.

Construction / Handling:
The construction goes quickly out of hand, I have included hiding all cables, and dispose of the packaging used less than 10 minutes.
At the front, you can also connect a headset, which is handy. I would find it even better if you could loop through in this way also a microphone.
The external power supply do not like it. An internal power supply and a C7 socket for a removable power cord with Euro plug is probably not a problem for devices of this size.

Power Save Mode:
Thanks to the EuP regulations (European Union commission on Energy Using Product), the boxes have a (in my opinion) very thoughtful energy-saving mode. If the signal source is connected via cable and 15 minutes no signal or no music is played switch off the speakers. The thing is done by coffee machines and other appliances in the household. I personally feel that as comfortable as a power strip with a switch and it saves money.
With 5 watts consumption, an electricity price of 25 cents per kilowatt hour and adopted 20 hours idle (4h Terms) a day results in a saving of 9 euros per year, and the boxes are not indeed the only electricity guzzlers in the home.
When a device is connected via Bluetooth is not switched off. That's a good thing, because maybe you sit with the tablet, a book or a glass of wine in his chair and do not want to run only at the computer to turn on the speakers.

Price-Performance:
Sonically play these boxes in the class up to 100 euros. You pay a little more in this model for Bluetooth and NFC. For much better sound you have, unfortunately, much more pay more, for example, the sound sticks of Harman / Kardon or Nubert Nupro.
I am otherwise not a product known, which sounds a lot better for a little more money.
Of course you can also pay for poor sound more, especially for LED-illuminated Brüllwürfel in gaming design.

I highly recommend these boxes. Some reviewers and Asker interfere yes to the power-saving mechanisms, but are likely to be as present with other manufacturers. The Soundsticks eg switch off even when not in use. The Nupro A-200 also automatically switch on again, but you also notice the price of these speakers. About evidence of similar good sounding speakers in a similar price segment with wake-up function I would be happy because more comfort and is still power saving also not wrong.
