I praise:
Canon IXUS has kept this quite small, so it fits comfortably in my hand. Overall, it looks mE pretty chic. The display has 3.2 "a good size. The 12x optical gefälllt me a lot. The chip scans the image with 12 megapixels from, an image stabilizer and many predefined exposure settings are part of the standard repertoire. In particular, I lift up the video quality of this apparatus shows, here the camera has arrived definitely at the forefront of current technology. With the Canon IXUS I can also as a hobby-photographer very nice pictures thanks to make-called qualities. But I restrict this judgment.
The I's criticisms:
The above-mentioned touchscreen aroused my interest for this camera, but it appears the same as its greatest weakness me. Although it works quite accurately, by the unintuitive and tedious menu navigation I need much too long to scan snapshots. The fleeting moment hurries me about it while I was looking for the right attitude with my thumb on the screen. Cleverly placed buttons function much better, because I can make adjustments more quickly. In addition, 3.2 "but a bit too small for reasonable touchscreen, at least this is true for the IXUS.
Another shortcoming is particularly low Photo quality (bad colors, bad focus) when shooting indoors (ie in the absence of daylight). The comparable cameras of other providers now much better.
So I rate:
The laudable qualities, especially the video recording inspire me, there are only plus point.
The touch screen as a unique selling proposition fails, this I draw from a star.
The price seems too high for a camera whose pictures have loss of quality already slight lack of light.
