I am used to many metal bands that albums are increasingly mixed louder and less emphasis on a decent sound quality. But I did what HSB delivers here really never experienced. It even goes so far that I consider listening of this album as a real disgrace. First, of course, falls on the extremely high volume. The album has a Replay Gain worth -13,72dB, which means that the album must be made quieter by a full 13,72dB to achieve the "standard" value of 89dB. This is not only annoying, but also results in a sound quality that could not be worse. The dynamic range is as "Combat" in appalling 3,2dB - a good value for metal songs is about 8dB - and rarely moves in the rest of the songs in more than 4dB. The thus mostly just a loud mash of vocals, guitars, and what could possibly identify as drums, hear, makes the very good album ansich a prime example of bad music.
My conclusion: Who the sound quality does not matter, can safely access. The rest, stay away!
