After the first 2 rounds, I can say for myself: catchy melodies, danceable. But the other albums I liked better.
Mercedes-Dance was danceable and the lyrics were behind the loose facade quite claim. And I'm here but lost something. For me personally a little too much "Digga", "Alda" and "give nen f * ck" with no statement behind.
Compared to the other albums, the album therefore falls but from textually clear. The approaches are partly available, eg for "overdose Fremdscham" or "prom", but the class of texts from Mercedes-Dance or its predecessor will not be achieved.
Yet I do not regret buying, but it will probably be no permanent rotation in my CD player. This may be because that Jan has set the bar very high with their previous album and Peter Fox has shown with "Stadtaffe" that this mix of good beats and thoughtful texts not only on a single album is feasible.
