"The Constant Princess" was my second book the author Philippa Gregory, the first "The Other Boleyn Girl" had me pulled totally under the spell. Me really fascinated everything on the subject Tudors, Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. And a book about the first wife of Henry VIII was interested in that because he had this woman but met with a certain respect. So who was this woman? Catherine entire biography their pride, their inflexibility seems just out of the relationship with her mother, Isabella of Spain, to be explained. Had this combative, disciplined, towards their children often hard queen also about the long distance to England through her life - and even beyond her death - a great influence on her daughter, in their understanding as Princess, so as the wife of the heir apparent, As a young widow and later as Queen.
