Catherine of Aragon - Queen of England

Catherine of Aragon - Queen of England

The Constant Princess (Tudor Series, Volume 4) (Paperback)

Customer Review

The most touching biography, which I have read about the first wife of Henry VIII. It portrays the life of Catherine of her childhood in Spain until the divorce process by Henry VIII.

Told through the eyes of Catherine, are for them especially her childhood in the Allhambra and their first few-month marriage to Arthur, the elder brother of the later Henry VIII, embossing.

This takes Katharina on her deathbed promise from his brother

To marry Henry, and as the queen to realize their common vision of a modern, powerful England.

As the daughter of Isabella the Catholic it is Heinrich intellectually superior to their more than twenty years of marriage not only, but even defeated in his absence at the Battle of Flodden the Scottish king.

If you survive born son in 1511, as the story of England were otherwise well-run ?!
