Deviating from the product photo I have, however, got a model, which is often seen at the other attractive offers, with the wings on the side and the indicated ribbing at the top. I do not know if Yongnuo and JJC have the same manufacturer, it looks in any case exactly like the "Yongnuo flash diffuser attachment."
The corrugation has made no discernible difference for me in everyday use (press photography). The wings could be easily removed with a cutter, they have been found, however, in this case as a benefit (and this brings me to the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars):
the diffuser clamps on my Canon 580EXII extremely tight. When I had him re, at first I thought even, I do not get him on it. Although it has ultimately works, but I get from him with great difficulty, and never with one hand in the heat of battle as before. I have to either remove the flash or the camera fix under one arm, this arm hold by hand the flash, so I exercise too much power to the hot shoe, and then with the push a thumb and the other hand the diffuser piece by piece ,
Meanwhile, it is a little easier, but the fit seems to be more adapted 100% to the Yungnuo flashes (also fits in the fact that the slope of the inner terminal edge not quite equal to the 580er, which practically does not affect, however). I assume that there is a little easier over time with the decrease (and it make, in between is just not easy).
I would recommend the diffuser anyway, because in itself it is stable and follows the contours of even 100% 580 EXII, but just a touch too tight. For the price, and even if only as a backup (these things always go once lost), is but to get over.
