Some passages I have since every now and then in the ear, the above disc, unlike many others who never really forget. Compelled now to purchase Disk to Disk of Hoffmann, I did not see me on the other hand again. And the opportunities, sometimes by chance to hear from Klaus Hoffmann's work remained scarce. Addressed directly to him I hear actually mostly a "never heard".
"La Dolce Vita" is for me, so to speak, a time warp, a bye after several years. And I was curious on it, and rather a bit skeptical.
In fact, I found the disc at first listen rather than something "angular", "unwieldy" and not as easily accessible.
What changed after repeated listening. Klaus Hoffmann is - like me - have aged. Particularly impressive, I feel his employment with the inevitable approaching end finiteness and the desire to want to go but just past it again at the start.
In its impact upon closer inspection downright abysmal issues that shake me personally mutually or especially inspire. Subjects about which I can hardly talk to someone of whom like to hear something only very few. As if the task so non-existent.
Beneficial to hear that at least a Klaus Hoffmann presents and makes thoughts.
Thoughts that are not always easy, and have already "made" me in a sentimental moment. In this respect I would like to recommend the album with a certain "caution" because there is no clear-light fare. ;-)
Those who are interested in Klaus Hoffmann, the likely but probably not expect or want.
Worth hearing and worth pondering!
