First the spectacle itself:
She's a little clunky because of their protective plastic cover and big glasses.
In ordered me Nvision 2 Kit (tag = link0cd-21 & Link code = as2 & camp = 1638 & creative = 19454 & creativeASIN = B005ZXYE0O) contained glasses, a pocket, the USB-IR laser and all cables to required. Delivery was within a day there and the product properly, so everything fit.
The glasses can be on a normal wear glasses without disturbing them (which pleasantly surprised me).
The reflections at the lower edge of glasses already described indeed come before but they were not really disturbing since one looks through the goggles and does not leer down :-)
The 3D effect (with below-described hardware!) Is excellent, with some distance from the monitor I had felt 1.5-2 meters deep.
In 3D objects came almost a meter out of the monitor in front of my nose and walked one meter in depth).
There were no ghosting and rapid movements came to totally clean!
I am from the 3D effect since thrilled and surprised this incredible depth surpassed anything to expectations, with most games and videos (of which there are countless) not quite as strong effect produce (in games often adjustable).
Why a lot of negative experiences had:
The problem of negative reviews and safely 95% of all players / movies showers is that they use an 'inappropriate' monitor.
On all Amazon I could ever find only one monitor which the backlight modulation of Nvidia dominated, in local shops gabs no.
If the monitor dominates the then pulsing the LED backlight so that the transition between the images, the illumination is reduced (which is not visible to the eye) and for short greatly increased the lighting for each of the two separate images frames.
Result: the typical headache generating 3D ghosting (ghosting) (ie "crosstalk" between the image information between the eyes) is completely erased, 3D for the first time as it is advertised for 10 years :-)
How is it right:
The 24 incher from BenQ (tag = link0cd-21 & Link code = as2 & camp = 1638 & creative = 6742 & creativeASIN = B005XZBMTU), this modulation in 3D mode. Besides, it is also the best monitor I previously had on the PC, very robust and flexible.
Apart from the monitor there are, as far as I can see so far (January 2012) no other candidates of which also dominates. But this will surely change even for consumers with greater inch wishes.
Apart from that the monitor is in 2D mode at 120Hz and has special zero-delay functions to eliminate any kind of motion blur, so you have even in 2D mode an outstanding monitor.
Matching graphics card for the luxury version of 3D:
For the 3D players among us: you must expect to cut your 2D frame rate. So either reduce the graphics settings or install a powerful graphics card.
Personally I use a 3GB 580GTX (this one:; tag = link0cd-21 & Link code = AM2 & camp = 1638 & creative = 6742 & creativeASIN = B004M39796), but of course it is also cheaper if you can do without a few details in the game.
This also allows the new Battlefield 3 (which in very impressive 3D effect) still 'almost' play entirely on Ultra, who accepts no compromises need even 2 of these cards in SLI mode.
I hope the review will be read by buyers, I even have my must together seek laboriously and was very lucky not on 'Just good' to buy a monitor (the available 120Hz 27-inch monitor was namely quite interesting).
Those who want to enjoy 'horny' 3D must have access to the above-mentioned date BenQ, the monitor is perfectly acceptable even in price / performance.
Who has another monitor should mention in his review, only glasses + Monitor are really meaningful.
