Positives:
The DAB + -enabled
-UKW RDS
Sound stage, as in NB70.
Negatives:
The DAB reception unfortunately so bad that not a single transmitter was received.
-UKW Reception considerably weaker than the NB70.
The enclosed inside the battery compartment wire antenna brings compared to the much too short telescopic antenna hardly an improvement. The reception is about the same bad.
Conclusion: The S3 is more comparable with the floundering NB90, and went back.
Who does not want to rely on the very old JVC boombox, with respect to a comparison with the new S-tubes, the former 90 and also with comparison devices from Philips, Sharp, etc. Lenco with the JVC RV-NB70 well served.
Only the Sony CFDRG880CPB I think the 70's as superior because of the USB flash drive display and even better Radioempgangs.
