The power supply has shown only 24 watts (12 volts times amps 2). Who thus the complete 5m strip with all LEDs (white) full brightness operates (5 times 7.2 W = 36 watts) should not be surprised, if the power supply goes up in smoke.

Remedies:
a) dim
b) less LEDs drive (colored instead of white)
c) reduce to a maximum of 24 / 7.2 = 3.3 meters
d) Use stronger power supply (at least 3 A)

I have not bought the product, but am reading the reviews scared and had then added this warning based on the product description.

The seller is at least serious negligence, if it offers this bundle here without warning.
