I had already tried several holders for my mountain bike when I came across this product. The Smartphone (here: iPhone 5s with the Lifeproof fre shell) is fixed with a rubber on an adjustable base plate. Keeps bombproof, on nasty gravel roads and bumpy forest trails. The bracket can be adjusted with two thumbscrews, so you his smartphone at any time in the field of view (portrait or landscape format) has. Only criticism: The Fixiergummi is torn after only a few weeks. Amazon has then completely replaced the holder. The new rubber holds since, I suspect that improved rubber compound is used. Only criticism: The holder builds very high (distance between base plate and handlebar about 7 cm). Does not look very elegant, does not bother me personally but.
