For the price one must not be surprised if the processing is cheaply. The smell is from nearby not the best, but you do not keep his nose indeed to a fax cable. I smell the cable as some in the reviews do not mean when I stand in front of the printer, perhaps my sense of smell is not even the best.
Works perfectly.
