Fairly quiet, not too warm very convenient pricewise and even has an on-off switch but does not disconnect the power supply but only the disk itself. The cable is quite short but for the price OK. The speed I measure not because it anyway depends only on USB 2. If you as long as the previous stops and does not break without warning (the last, a WD began to rattle when working) ....... long-term ratings are not my thing, but if they do not make the guarantee I'll write again.
