The cable tester is powered by a 9V battery. Simple RJ11 or RJ45 cable end plugs into the master and remote part and you can start the test. After switching on the device, the individual cable wires are automatically tested one after the other. So defective cable or error in the network can be identified quickly. There are two speeds with which the cable cores can be tested sequentially. A manual indexing is not possible.
