Basically, I can understand the previous reviews on this shelf, even if I find this much less dramatically. The material is totally ok for this price and I do not know what should be done much different. The shelf is - once built - in place. Since it is mainly on the optics; whether under the paint now real wood or just a wood reproduction infected, then I'm not interested on. The shelf is absolutely stable and there seem also no forces on the boards, which would require different material. One to two criticisms that bother me: the one hand, the magnets that are attached to the frame and hold the door: sitting there this little loose it rattles when opening and closing the doors a bit, since the magnets are just attracted to the metal part of the door (You can see the magnets but with some folded paper jamming). In previous versions, there was still a slightly better solution. Second Amendment yoy. earlier: the rear wall must now be fixed to the frame with small nails from the rear side. On the one hand you have to watch that the nails are not diagonally folded inwards, otherwise they are possibly on the inside - ie where the CDs / DVDs are - out again. Best angled slightly obliquely outwards strike; there is enough room. Secondly, this disassembly difficult. Previously the rear walls were inserted into grooves in the frame, so that you see at any time could pull it out again. But as long as one does not move, there's little reason to have to disassemble the shelf.
All in all, I find the shelves for Blurays ideal. Pro Board therefore fit into about 21 slices per shelf 84 pieces. Since the shelves are well designed on the dimensions for CDs and DVDs, arising somewhat larger gaps to the next board than it needs to be. But that's only a small optical blemish; on the other hand fit by higher boxes - for example, the Lord of the Rings trilogy -. easily into and there are no problems on the top floor with the door magnet for CDs / DVDs in the way if necessary. Thanks to the handles you are now going on the fingerprints, which formerly had always.
That the disc closes not directly to the frame I find not so bad - I find it even more beautiful that way. Of course, by a little dust comes inside, but of course not nearly as much as with an open shelf and not so much that you would have to dust off there every month.
Note should be the dimensions, because the shelf is now a piece are smaller than before. My "old" shelves are 92x39x19 cm (HxWxD) in size, the current version only 88x31x18 cm.
Overall a very good shelf; a star's withdrawal because of the mounting of the rear wall with nails (no disassembly, difficult assembly) and the magnets for the door (minimum rattle).
