The JVC was for my 5 year old son, or rather so that his parents again have a little more peace. It just annoying when you have to endure the current favorite song of the little ones 20 times in a row. The headset is intended as a replacement for the rather quickly broken previous original handset Kidizoom because he uses this as an MP3 player. The JVC headphones makes an overall good impression. The ear cushions are very soft which makes wearing comfortable and in the ears are slightly slanted and therefore do not press the ears too. A long-term wear is not perceived as unpleasant. I initially thought that the wide temples somehow disturbing, but that's not the case. The label supplied to the "individualization" of headphones paved already after 10 minutes almost every part of the temple. The headset is amazingly light and also the short cable I find enjoyable and reasonable. About a 2m cable stumbles a child rather than that it has a benefit. The processing of the headphone does not look cheap despite the many plastic and also the adjustment of the headband snaps good one, so that accidental changes hardly occur. We come to the sound and especially to curb the volume (limitation to 85 db). I was pleasantly surprised because the Tinyphones have a very decent sound. Overall, very balanced, only if you go to the volume limit of 85 db, it is slightly worse. The sound is then but still better as with most 5-10 headphones and it just no longer gets louder at a certain value is a great feature that already justifies the extra price for the JVC Tinyphones my opinion alone. Since the headphones at maximum size also suits me (ok, more like a DJ on the back of the head) I have also myself getstet with the volume restriction. The fact is that you can do (tested with my phone and a portable CD player) on the player simply louder after a certain volume and the only thing that has happened which the sound is a little rattling. So I can let the kids play around the players complete peace of mind, without fear of having to he destroyed his hearing even in his early youth. Overall, I'm glad that I have not bought a 5 headphones. For the sound of the JVC, the comfort and also the volume limit of the headphones I get 5 stars.
positive: - Comfortable to wear - Sound for the price very good - Volume throttling works well - Stickers for personalizing the headphones are great fun for the little ones - Short cable (approximately 1 m) for children right - Construction-related shielding of ambient noise has a positive effect on the sound of - Good workmanship, no corners or sharp edges
negative: - Shielding of ambient noise may not be intentional. - Cable a bit short when the headset is for example connected to a car DVD player.
