Delivery:
The delivery was Amazon typically fast and reliable. Sunday ordered late in the evening and on the following Tuesday, at 12 clock, the package was there. Could not be better.
Packaging / delivery:
Printer and accessories are, as might be expected, packed in styrofoam and plastic bags. Everything is neatly protected. No more, no less. One wonders at least not unpack already at whether the device has to send probably survived intact. The only complaint is (as always) the USB cable is not included. But that is now like that.

Commissioning / operating instructions:
The instructions (Commissioning Guide and User Manual) do I rate only as a very positive and helpful. That is now not always the case. Along with the instructions on the printer display to set up with the illustrated instructions is easy. It discusses all the possible scenarios after the conclusion of a working point, so only no questions arise. Great!
On setting up printing with mobile devices (Android / iOS) and Clouds (Dropbox, etc.) will not be discussed in the instructions. For this purpose the support page of Brother must be consulted. However, I did it without the side and only with the instructions on the printer display fairly quickly managed to set everything.

Speed:
The speed has really impressed me. Granted, before that I had a 6 year old Brother machine, but I would rate the speed of printing in b / w, as in color subjectively as quickly. Even with acquaintances I have not seen one inkjet printer is as fast (if you have a new printer, one pays attention to something in the known ;-)).

Print quality:
For print quality I can only say that I am completely satisfied. I would describe myself as a normal time demanding. Texts look very clean. In normal reading distance no fringes are similar to recognize. Color I can based rating photos. I am an amateur photographer and have to say that I liked the results well. You are what I expect from an ordinary inkjet printing. No more, no less completely determined. Contours are clearly visible, nothing is blurred and the color fidelity is absolutely sufficient. From commercial printing analysis, I have no idea, so I leave it at that.

Volume:
Well, you can hear him halt when it prints. He is excessively loud or quiet me not. Mostly we read that this series of devices Brother should be very loud. I can not confirm subjective. The noise pressure should for most users not be a problem.

The ability to store 400 sheets in the device is great, and also the possibility of times a DIN A3 sheet to print like it very much. The external paper feed scans or copies the device up to 20 sheets automatically. For me absolutely enough, but there are certain users for this is a KO criterion. Class I also find the automatic duplex printing. Dar works quickly and easily.
The touchscreen display is serving very well. Important information is presented well and by warning tones one is immediately aware of it. Despite the small size of the display, it can be surprisingly easy to operate with your finger. Even when entering letters I have almost made no typos. A bit annoying is that there is dedicated touch buttons for Back and Home, but not for OK. For a relatively small touch surface must be operated always on top of the display, which is, however, surprising to hit well.
I have connected the printer via USB to my work PC. Still further, grab a notebook, an Android tablet, and two Android smartphones via Wi-Fi to the printer. The device on PC and notebook was simple and self-explanatory. Everything works quickly and easily. The Brother Androidapp is kept as simple and self-explanatory. Again, everything went (to my surprise) right away, without any problems. Prints of Android look just as good as the. Of the Windows PCs Also scan for Android works great.
Furthermore, I often and gladly use the Dropbox. The device via printer and PC works well, though not as self-explanatory as the rest. This is especially due to long instruction texts that need to be shown on several sides on the small display. Once set can be printed directly from the Dropbox or be scanned directly into the Dropbox (PC is not needed to).

Conclusion:
I am completely satisfied with the device. For the average Joe user a great device with many nice extras. The price is absolutely reasonable for it. According to evaluation of each chapter, I would give 4.7 stars. Because this does not work and I am actually completely satisfied, I round on.
