I have bought this hub because i need more than 4 USB ports (who has a Mac Mini without integr. Bluetooth, as well as printers, audio interface, etc., can certainly sympathize). My previous 4-port hub from Adap *** has indeed served us well and also has a Mac-like design, but unfortunately made problems in the Apple Wireless Mouse, there were lags / ghosting. And 4 ports not arrived on time. At D-Link, I have no more problems. Finally enough connections, it works on Mac and PC, with me having currently 5 devices (MIDI keyboard controller, dongle, Bluetooth, printer / scanner combo). The problems with the mouse are gone! No disconnections, standby or hibernate the PC on Mac with reactivation make no problems. Even a Midi interface Midi forwards all data completely and rapidly, there is virtually no latency. Tip: If you want to use the full USB 2.0 speed, D-Link recommends only 2.0 devices to the hub to connect and disconnect 1.1 devices! Alternatively, one can connect 1.1 devices to your PC / Mac directly and use the Hub only for 2.0, or buy a second stroke.
