I needed a new fan control as my old always ran from one day to the next at 2 from the fans at max speed and and in the other two fans they began to beep when the speed is set to less than 600.
The ensuing noise was not really nice.
So I looked around for a new one.
My choice fell on the BitFenix Recon because I have built a BitFenix Shinobi case and also BitFenix chassis fan.
With both products, I am more like happy, so it should be the Recon.
Supplied with everything really contain what you need, plus spare cable with sensors.
I have so first the cable away I do not need (already are enough cable in the PC).
Then first all fan verkabelt- the cables are all long enough, enough even loose for Big Tower.
Control tightened and used but angeschaltet- PC starts no fan ran.
I Depp had the power cables routed neatly, but forgot to put the plug.
PC again, plug it and everything worked.
When setting has 3 Möglichkeiten- manually (but goes down only to 500 RPM)
automatically, or to install the software and provides an all there.
In order to use the software has the motherboard USB header 2 be free where the Recon is connected.
As for me is a small drawback because the cable could then be longer but I could not embarrassed by the cable management it but had it cut across through the housing to fit.
All together does the installation about 10 minutes if you want to route the cables clean.
The people who have been complaining that you can not see anything when you angle draufschaut- how often you must please hingucken since then?
I have the fan gestellt- once to the lowest Geschwingkeit which takes about 1 minute and good wars.
Wen the beeps when setting disturbing just tap the top right of the speaker and is already resting.
I then getestet- the software works perfectly and is (for me at least) very easy to use.
Then I asked the fan control on the car and have first looked silly as after a few seconds 2 fan ran out.
I then with Speedfan temperatures überprüft- the PC has not been 1 degrees warmer.
Then made a stress test with Prime, after a few minutes, the fans jumped arrival but ran only about 500 RPM, temperatures all in the green zone, the CPU had a maximum of 48 degrees and the graphics card 63, the HDD`s both running at just under or more than 30 degrees.
The PC is pleasantly quiet both in the car as well as in manual mode.
I can only recommend this fan control.
Now the question arises why only 3 stars?
1) The control came in a bubble envelope to (fortunately BitFenix has verpackt- very sure the controller is in normal carton know the parcel services probably)
2) The pact was verschickt- via UPS who sent the package first 250 km in the opposite direction, there was then overnight, was then geschickt- to Hanover was again overnight, then to Düsseldorf- there was then over the weekend Monday and then I sat all day Zuhause- the messenger came at 17:15
Since extradite Saturdays UPS have the discreet 4 working days needed to determine a Päcken than 560 km away.
Such a thing is not at all
In this type of sending is clear to me why it does not offer Amazon Prime.
So why only 3 stars, Amazon OK, product class- the last delivery.
