Dasist an absolutely recommendable Christmas CD. The flattering softness of Belafonte's voice is known and he brings just the right place to use. He sings softly and touching, but drifts while never (!) Into schmaltzy from. That's the special thing about this CD and makes them so valuable. Of course you must have a sense of romance, but it is indeed velvety and anheimelig, but it is just played in both vocals and arrangements never even tend cheesy, but artistically highly accurate and professional and sung. The arrangements are restrained and intimate. Great Thing.
Additional advantage is that it "The Gifts They Gave" a few songs, in addition to absolute classics such as "White Christmas" with eg "Mary, Mary" or that you will not find on any Christmas CD and listening to a little bit more interesting and make enriching.
