This is in itself a decisive advantage! Even if - as at all possible - to buy a second, larger cuff, in a multi-person operation is omitted before the repositioning of the cuff. The cuff is preformed something so that they can be put also own relatively good and easy on the arm, what's sometimes a bit difficult in the classic, unformed cuffs. Again, an increase compared to so many competitors.

The device carries out an oscillatory measurements. The tolerance is given as +/- 3 mmHg, which is below the tolerance that can be measured mechanically (classic doctor-measurement). Compared to my previous visomat meter (which is now sorted out, because the error rate has increased dramatically), but also in a comparative measurement at the pharmacy with a standardized instrument, I could find no relevant deviations, so I assume that the Blood Pressure Monitor closely measures.

It is a two-person instrument. Of course you can measure with the SENCOR as many people's blood pressure, which is already clear what is meant by this is that there is storage space for two people, and thus the last measurements can be called again from memory. Also, the mean value of the stored measurements is displayed. The device offers according to the description up to 60 memory operations. I myself do not use out of this feature, I transfer the values ​​always in my blood pressure pass.

That the pulse is also measured, understood, with variations, there is a indicator of cardiac arrhythmia.

It is very pleasant that the measuring process takes place during the inflation! Thus, a non-first the upper arm (felt) is squeezed. A feature on will not be noted in the description, but what I think is really good.

The display shows the values ​​of very great importance is because the reading glasses is even unnecessary. The contrast of the white numbers to medium blue background is more than adequate. The values ​​are displayed either in the conventional unit mmHg, or in the physically actually correct unit kPa (which in practice is however entirely uncommon). The controls are easy to touch, which is a slide switch also OK. With the controls either the measurement is started or accessed memory values ​​or made the default setting, so next to the unit the date and time (24-hour clock), so that the values ​​are stored with the appropriate time.

Also a great advantage: It is directly supplied a power supply! Thus, the battery-free and thus (minimal) more environmentally friendly method of operation is possible directly and without cumbersome additional procurement! Of course you can also insert 4 x AAA batteries and yes, these are also included. The store, incidentally, holds the data stored even if the unit is unplugged and no batteries are inserted. At least that was the hour when my test case.

The device is also a bag in which can be closed by a zipper a little more than three sides. It is white, slightly padded and has inside still a small network, eg for spare batteries when traveling. Just for the journey, it is also suitable for making such a bag a rather sophisticated look, also has side a carrying handle.

Somewhat less great is the manual. Although it is detailed and understandable and actually you do not need them if you know how the blood pressure is measured. But: There is a brochure in the manual, which is written in several languages, but not in German. Therefore, the equipment has two sheets of A3 settled that the German (and French, Spanish and Italian) is intended to represent operating instructions in miniature font. Well, yes, to me it was enough so.

I am completely satisfied with the SENCOR 915 SBP and would buy it immediately! The purchase via Amazon (direct) was - as usual - perfect!
