Pro:
- Image quality, especially in the details of the recordings and the high dynamic range
- Quick and easy settings (reduced to the most important)
- Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) and RAW images
- Attention: Both formats result in very large files (1GB 1min). Therefore you need very fast SD cards. For the recordings can be processed later much faster because the computer must decode not only!
Cons:
- Extremely low battery (20min) and no optical image stabilizer Panasonic lenses without manual switch OS
- Recorded videos can not be deleted on the camera
- SD card can not be formatted in the camera
- All 3 units that were sent to me had defective pixels in the display (green)
- All 3 units were permanently white luminous pixels on shots from ISO 800 (especially in 1600).
- 2 of the original packaged cameras had dirt (rather brownish dirt) on the housing and even on the image sensor.
The quality defects were absolutely preventable and in my opinion not acceptable in this product class.
Finally I had to give back all the cameras because I have no desire to touch up white lit pixel manually to night scenes.
