This comic is awesome. He is authentic, personal and one of the best books on the Nazi period. I actually thought, "Yeah, everyone says mouse is super but the topic is now really Swallowed" so it is. The 2nd World War has been examined from every possible point of view, yet you can read mouse without getting bored or a deja vu experience, because the mixture of past and present, objectively and without the presentation are slipping into kitsch simply unique. I'll push this book once my children into their own hands if I want to inform you about the Nazi period before I give you any other witnesses report.
The mixture of text and image of the comic transports the mood and emotions without letting them appear flat or to take their horror, but horror is not cannibalized so that it is operated only lower needs for shock literature no work simultaneously.
In short: mouse is just an adequate representation of the suffering and horrors of World War 2
