Classy and high quality with detail weaknesses

The A1 is simple in the case used, a plastic holder secures the device and provides reliable protection against falling out of the cover.
The cover itself can free all controls and ports. Cut-outs for camera and speaker are also available.
The case is internally provided with a black, felt-like material which protects the display scratch-free. The outer material is gray with light silvery shimmer and works by quite noble. The processing of the case is absolutely high quality and impeccable.

The fold-away part of the case, the "book cover", has inside two grooves in which the tablet can be placed in two positions. Is convenient for films or when something needs to be read from the display while engaged in another activity.

However, the lid is completely rigid, which means you can not fold it into a triangle wedge (as in some ipad case) to the tablet slightly inclined to lie.
The cover also can not be fixed and the device also does not switch when you close the case automatically. The Iconia A1 probably does not have a corresponding magnetic switches used in other Tablet / Case combos.

The case weighs ca.180g, characterized then increases the total weight of A1 plus casing ca.590g.

Overall, high-quality, well-made case with small design flaws.
